EAS Systems, Inc. Partners With Perini in San Juan Custom House Project

At EAS Systems, Inc., we take immense pride in our expansive federal government portfolio, serving as a trusted provider of physical security, communication and infrastructure solutions for critical projects. Our recent collaboration with Perini Management Services, Inc. on the restoration of the San Juan Custom House, commissioned by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection of the Department of Homeland Security, underscores our commitment to excellence in safeguarding vital infrastructure.

The project encompassed 65,000 gross square feet of interior and exterior renovation of the two-story Custom House, a Spanish Colonial Revival style building originally built in 1924, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Architecturally, it is one of the nation’s most distinguished custom houses, and the exterior and interior terracotta ornamentation is especially notable.

Partnering with Perini, EAS Systems, Inc. assumed responsibility for integrating all physical security systems within the facility. Leveraging our expertise, we seamlessly incorporated advanced security measures to align with the stringent standards mandated by the Department of Homeland Security.

We extend our gratitude to CBP for entrusting us with this significant task. Their continued confidence in our capabilities speaks volumes about our expertise in handling critical federal projects.

Since 1995, EAS has met the needs of hundreds of amazing clients—and a vast list of federal government agencies—providing tailored solutions for physical security, communication and infrastructure. Our staff also enjoys a higher level of clearance than it is customary in Puerto Rico, as we are authorized to work under stricter frameworks and environments with our numerous federal government credentials.
